BATTERY LIFE ANSWERED from my experience: 1 hour 48 minutes: to charge from a fully dead battery. 1 hour 51 minutes: to record using AVCHD LITE for continous recording with no zoom (16gb card). 1 hour 11 minutes: using MOTION JPEG recording with zooming, playback, deleteing videos & 15-20 pictures on 1 charge.
